Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as the primary HR point of contact for Sanoma Learning employees in Italy.
This role will provide strategic support to the Italian leadership team and implement HR policies and practices that enhance talent development, business performance, and sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving HR initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic HR guidance to the leadership team, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
* Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and implement a talent strategy that fosters business growth and the development of new business and operating models.
* Work closely with Sanoma Learning’s Centers of Excellence (COEs) to localize and implement corporate HR programs while ensuring alignment with Italy’s specific needs.
* Manage employee relations, serving as the primary liaison with the Works Council to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Drive change management initiatives, fostering employee engagement and implementing internal communication strategies that align employees with the company’s strategic goals.
* Strengthen Sanoma Learning’s employer brand in Italy to enhance talent attraction and retention.
* Ensure compliance with Italian labor laws and best HR practices.
Requirements
* University degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 7+ years of HR experience, with a proven track record as an HRBP in an international environment.
* Deep knowledge of Italian labor laws and HR regulations.
* Demonstrated experience in HR generalist roles, organizational restructuring, change management, and talent development.
* Strong background in employee relations and negotiations with Works Councils.
* Experience in project management and the successful implementation of HR initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
* Fluency in Italian and English.
