VOLT Infrastructure is a company that develops and invests in renewable energy projects (PV and BESS) in Italy. From land identification to technical design, through permitting to EPC contracting, VOLT Infrastructure's development team plays a key role in the success of each and every project we undertake. For our Italian Team, we are looking for Land Originator who is passionate about energy transition issues.
ROLE AND RESPONSABILITY:
The figure will be engaged in the acquisition of new land/opportunities suitable for the development of photovoltaic and battery energy storage (BESS) sites. Specifically, he/she will be in charge of:
Business origination:
* Scouting and market analysis of areas to identify new SOLAR PV/BESS development opportunities.
* Building a network of collaborators and Scouts to extend your reach into the market and communities of interest.
* Outbound cold calling, generating qualified sales opportunities.
* Qualifying the land identified by the Inhouse Q.GiS mapping system and convert into business opportunities.
* Implement new solutions to target the market and grow lead generation reach.
Negotiating economic values and contractual conditions in agreement with the various corporate functions (legal and financial).
* Managing relations with landowners throughout the entire development phase of the project.
* Ensure economic viability of opportunities.
Management of the Land Acquisition process:
* Coordinating with the Technical team to obtain the Analysis of constraints with the support of internal and external technicians.
* Coordination with the Legal and commercial team to ensure the contract drafting where required.
* Finding and evaluating all the documentation required for the project development process (historical and hypocatastical surveys, title deeds, etc.).
* Develop and maintain sales pipeline through CRM system.
REQUIREMENTS:
* At least 1-2 years of experience in B2C sales, preferably green field development of renewable energy projects in Italy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to network, build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
* Team working skills necessary to work efficiently both within the department and with the whole Italia Team.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Results-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Willing to travel and holds a full Italian driving licence.
* Professional level English and Italian fluency.
* Good IT skills, able to use Microsoft packages.
