We are looking for a Product Manager, Forestry Cranes who will be responsible for shaping the next generation products, based on market data, customer insights, cost and technology targets and by establishing the strategic positioning of both price and specifications in line with the company's overall profit and sustainability targets.
As a result of this the Product Manager will implement the BL product strategy in order to deliver profitable growth through differentiated customer experience and performance across the lifecycle, supporting sales.
This role can be based in Sweden, Finland, Italy, Spain or the Netherlands and will report to our Director, Global Product Management Heavy & Superheavy Loader Cranes .
Main tasks and responsibilities
1. Drive and support sales, growth and profitability for defined market and products in line with budget and strategy, supporting the Global Product Management
2. Understand and adapt to the market situation
3. Deliver customer and market intelligence: trends/needs, product performance & competitive offering
4. Handle majority of local product related questions
5. Take major role in launching of new products and options/features
6. Organize and give product training on area level
7. React promptly to customer requests and demands
8. Identify focus segments supporting local sales strategy
9. Participates in product councils and gives input to PLC and NPD work
10. Deliver customer feedback and insights to services
11. Participate in sales planning and business reviews with sales
12. Support Global Product managers in cost analysis (cost development, fixed costs vs direct costs, CSC vs BL vs PSC, inflation, ...)
13. Administration of product data in configurator and sales tools
What you’ll need to succeed
14. Technical and/or Business Degree
15. 5 years in similar role, from product management or product strategy
16. Best if from heavy machinery/equipment companies
17. Plus from the forestry and or recycling equipment makers
18. Good technical understanding of product & application
19. Data analysis capabilities
20. Strong commercial, strategic and influencing skills
21. Strong communication and collaboration skills
22. Ability to work in a Matrix structure in ambiguity
23. Customer centric mindset
24. Experience with MS Office and Google suite
25. Fluency in English, both written and verbal
26. Driving license
