Job Title:
Software Engineer Role: Field Application Engineer (FAE) for IoT platforms with UWB Modules
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, providing support and guidance in integrating our UWB modules into their products.
* Assist customers with hardware design, firmware development, and system integration.
* Develop and deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and documentation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to embedded systems, microcontrollers, and UWB technology.
* Collaborate with internal engineering teams to provide feedback for continuous product improvement.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and UWB, embedded systems, and RTOS technologies.
* Support sales and marketing teams in pre-sales activities, including technical demonstrations, customer meetings, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Preferred 1-3 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on microcontroller-based platforms.
* Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS and Zephyr.
* Knowledge of the Arduino core and its integration with embedded systems is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to support customers and attend industry events.
