Job Description
Engineering and execution of DCS and PLC software application development for Energy from Waste (EfW) and Renewable Gas (RG) Plants:
* Configuration of Networking Devices (Managed Switches, Routers, DMZ Routers, Firewalls)
* Initial setup and configuration of industrial PCs
* Factory Acceptance Testing and commissioning of DCS Hardware and Software including Safety Instrumented Systems, both on site and remote
* Coaching and Training of entry-level members, other Automation Software Engineers, and customers
* Reviewing technical specifications and RfQ documentation to ensure accuracy, conformance with codes, and client specifications
Qualifications
* 3+ years’ experience in DCS and PLC Software Application development (Siemens PCS7, TIA Portal), preferably in power plant applications
* Good knowledge of IT and various bus communication protocols (Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, ModbusTCP, IEC104, OPC)
* Ability to work under stress and proactiveness
* Commissioning and operational experience is an advantage
* Good knowledge of the English language
