Purpose of the role:
Drive and manage 360° marketing plans for BC & FO stores (physical and digital) for specified categories to maximize sell-out and profitable business growth.
Drive Visual Merchandising strategy for BC & FO customers in a relevant way, in line with brands strategy and conversion maximization.
Support the creation of Omni-channel marketing initiatives with a holistic view of the BC + FO panorama and ensure excellent implementation of marketing strategies, with the aim of working on lower / mid funnel and maximize engagement and conversion.
What you will do:
1. Grant global strategy execution by elevating consumer experience, enhance brand engagement and maximizing conversion.
2. Align priorities with the local market brand marketing team, to leverage the impact of brand focused launches into the monobrand environment.
3. Ensure that all retail marketing activities are aligned with local brand teams and contribute to drive sell out and market share.
4. Grant the best-in-class retail activation & marketing initiatives both in own retail and franchising channels.
5. Ensure that the key city stores are part of the overall brand echo system in the city, by building an authentic brand experience and inspiring key city relevant communities and influencers.
6. Co-own retail KPIs (Traffic, Conversion, ATV, UPT and Net Sales) with the local back-office retail team and work closely with them to pro-actively assess any business opportunity or performance issue.
7. Ensure campaign targets are properly set, evaluated and met.
8. Manage new store openings, both franchising and own retail channels, by granting a top consumer experience and a flawless execution in terms of store activation.
9. Own and manage the assigned budget and provide Europe/finance team regular forecast.
10. Manage and optimize MWB and SWB by ensuring that the end-to-end process is aligned with procurement policy.
11. Ensure the marketing activation team priorities and strategies are aligned with South cluster and EU expectations.
12. Take ownership for talent management processes to grow, develop and retain talent.
13. Support the Franchise team to prepare and set sell in campaigns.
14. Manage a team of Visual Merchandising Managers (VMM) to implement the European Visual Merchandising standards and guidelines including ISC production and installation in all the relevant store/doors concepts and formats within the top 25 cluster.
15. Guarantee consistency of In-Store-Communication (ISC) tools and messages across different WHS customers, in line with marketing calendar and brand key messages.
16. Influence and negotiate with all key business partners (Own Retail Operations, WHS sales, Franchisee Partners, WHS Accounts) regarding all VM matters taking into account commerciality and key product launches and ensuring consistency within best practice guidelines to provide a leading shopping experience for all consumers.
Skills you'll need:
1. Solid interpersonal, networking and negotiating skills.
2. Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
3. Solid business acumen and in-depth knowledge of Retail KPIs.
4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
5. Fluency in English and local language of Market HQ.
6. Geographically mobile.
Main requirement:
1. 5-7 years Retail or Marketing experience (minimum 2 – 3 years Retail experience is essential)
2. 3 - 5 years management experience.
3. Fully Competent with IT packages (Excel and PowerPoint to an advanced level)
