Job Description
The Stock Controller will report to the Store Manager. You will oversee incoming and outgoing goods, manage inventory, and maintain the stockroom.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Set operational excellence standards by following policies and procedures while elevating standards through proper tools and equipment usage.
* Maintain clean and organized inventories in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
* Support sales teams with tasks such as running sizes, assisting at the cash register, advising on size and stock availability, and other support-related tasks.
* Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork when interacting with coworkers, clients, and management.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented correctly.
* Communicate product stock level and quality issues to the Management team to avoid shrinkage.
* Perform shipping/receiving tasks efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time, verifying package quantity and quality.
* Prepare documentation for uniforms upon management authorization.
* Comply with company fire, health, and safety regulations.
* Monitor store supply levels, such as packaging, beverages, and office supplies, and communicate order needs to management.
* Prepare, organize, and participate in inventories and analyze results.
Requirements
* Previous experience of at least 2 years in a stock position, preferably in retail.
* Highly organized, rigorous, and reliable.
* Computer skills, including operation of retail point of sale systems, Word, Excel, and email.
