About this role,
The Sales Director Central & Southern Europe is a strategic position requiring analytical, strategic, and leadership skills to develop and implement the commercial strategy for the EDITA business in Italian, French and DACH markets.
This figure will report directly to the Head of Sales and be responsible for developing the EDITA business across Italy, France and DACH.
Main Responsibilities:
* Contribute to defining the commercial strategy for both PL and branded international business in collaboration with the Head of Sales and the Head of Marketing & Innovation.
* Manage an international team and define annual sales plans and targets to be achieved in the Italian, French, and DACH markets.
* In collaboration with the Marketing and Category Management team, conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, monitor industry trends, and understand consumer behavior to implement effective strategies in each target market.
* Monitor business performance, analyzing sales performance to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
* Collaborate with the Marketing & Innovation team to manage the EDITA product portfolio, evaluating existing products, identifying potential new launches, and product innovations.
* Maintain and develop relationships with key clients at a senior level, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring alignment of commercial strategies.
* Ensure the training and development of the commercial team reporting directly, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to team members.
Requirements:
* 10 years of experience in managing Italian and foreign markets.
* Leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire your team.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Able to have a strategic vision for the business.
* Strong goal orientation and ability to manage complex projects.
Prerequisites: Languages - fluent in English and Italian. Previous experience in the FMCG, solid experience in Food and Beverage Sales. Work location: Gattico-Veruno (NO) - hybrid. Frequent travelling to France and DACH area.
