Sales Assistant (40h)
Reports to: Store Manager
Main Duties:
To provide a consistent and exceptional standard of customer service in the store.
The Role:
* To maximize sales for the store;
* To develop enduring relationships with clients;
* To provide product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer requests;
* To approach customers and offer them advice and support on products to persuade them to buy;
* To manage promotional allowances, rebates, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices;
* To understand and advise customers on smart professional dress and appearance;
* To resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history;
* To handle returns of merchandise;
* To maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store at the highest standard;
* To support the team on general operations of the 'The Bridge' store;
* To arrange merchandise on shelves according to popularity and other criteria;
* To operate cash registers and close daily revenues;
* To maintain a customer database by inputting customer profiles and updates;
* To go the 'extra mile' to meet targets.
The Candidate:
* At least 3 years of working experience in the role;
* Fluency in English (written & spoken) is strongly desired;
* Retail or service industry experience;
* Great customer service and people skills;
* Ability to communicate and inspire customers & store colleagues;
