Are you eager to bring your experience and knowledge as Cloud FinOps Analyst into one of our clients?
We are looking for a FinOps Specialist to manage and optimize cloud financial operations, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization. This role involves driving cost-saving initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders, and aligning cloud spending with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead Cost Optimization Initiatives: Identify inefficiencies in cloud usage and implement best practices to reduce costs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cloud subscription owners, finance teams, engineering teams, and executive leadership to drive cost optimization strategies and ensure compliance.
* Training and Workshops: Educate internal stakeholders on cloud financial management and cost-saving measures through workshops and FAQ sessions.
* Cloud Utilization Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of cloud resource usage, identify waste, and implement tactical and strategic cost-saving measures.
* Process Development: Establish comprehensive documentation of processes, policies, and cloud cost governance strategies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications:
* Preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in cloud financial management, cost optimization, or a similar FinOps role.
* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their cost structures.
* Experience working in structured and enterprise-level environments with multiple stakeholders.
* Proficiency in cloud financial tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Google Cloud Billing).
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
