We are looking for a Specialist expert in managing Linux server infrastructures and using open source software. The resource will collaborate with the IT team to ensure the correct functioning of systems, data security and provide technical support to users.
Main responsibilities:
• Linux server infrastructure management and mastery of open source software;
• Knowledge of RHEL and Debian operating systems, with configuration and maintenance skills;
• Management and configuration of monitoring services (e.g. Zabbix) and security (e.g. Graylog, Wazuh) to ensure the stability and security of the infrastructure;
• Use of automation software for the orchestration of Linux server farms (Ansible, Python..).
• Basic knowledge of networking, including concepts such as subnetting, routing and network configuration;
• Proactive attitude, with a strong desire to learn and get involved in new technological challenges.
• Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems;
• Assist in the management of patching, backups and recovery plans in the event of disasters and system updates;
Essential requirements:
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems;
• Understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
Optional Requirements:
• Previous experience in an IT support role;
• Familiarity with network protocols and infrastructure;
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent ability autonomy, teamwork skills and a good knowledge of the English language.
