Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities
6. Work within bid teams to deliver financial models, costs, price and detailed scenario analysis to influence business strategy decisions within the bid
7. Provide expert modelling as required throughout the business e.g. supporting customer negotiations, operating forecasts etc.
8. Provide support to the bid governance process, identifying financial and commercial risks for discussion
9. Play a role in ensuring compliance and standards relating to financial modelling
10. Maintain expertise in financial reporting requirements
11. Consider accounting treatments under IFRS, liaising with Group Finance, as appropriate
Successful Candidate
Essential:
12. Strong intellect
13. Aptitude to develop expert bid financial modelling ability
14. Expert Excel skills
15. Relevant professional financial qualification (or equivalent combination of relevant alternative professional qualification and relevant financial experience)
16. Ability to interpret financial information to aid decision-making
17. Capacity to handle demanding and fluctuating workload
18. Thoroughness and attention to detail with a steadiness under pressure
19. Energy and tenacity
20. Team player
21. Strong communication skills to work with a range of people across the business
22. Experience of effective working in bid teams
23. Financial reporting expertise
