HSPI, a TXT Group company, offers management consulting services in IT Governance, Business Consulting, and Digital Innovation.
To expand and strengthen the team at its Rome office, HSPI is looking for a resource to be placed in the role of ESG Consultant with a focus on Data & Reporting.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on innovative environmental projects, analyzing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data to assess their impact on companies and investments.
The candidate must have a maximum of 2 years of previous experience in the role.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze, interpret, and visualize environmental data;
Engage with various stakeholders involved in sustainability reporting to collect necessary information, communicate findings, and guide process activities;
Draft sustainability reports, supporting clients in double materiality analysis and environmental reporting structure, in compliance with GRI and CSRD/NFRD standards;
Identify improvement opportunities in ESG areas, considering regulatory and industry-standard developments, and support the definition of corporate sustainability strategies;
Develop environmental reports and provide data-driven recommendations, leveraging business intelligence tools;
Prepare emission measurement models along the value chain (Scope 3), using both specific and generic data;
Interpret financial statements of public and private entities, financial results, and related administrative documentation;
Provide expert ESG regulatory analysis and best practice recommendations to clients, with a specific focus on environmental aspects.
Technical Requirements:
Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Circular Economy, or related fields;
Strong knowledge of LCA methodology, GHG Protocol, and ISO standards;
Understanding of national and European environmental regulations;
Experience in drafting sustainability reports for public or private entities, with knowledge of key environmental reporting standards (CSRD, NFRD, GRI);
Data analysis and visualization expertise, particularly in environmental data;
Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data representation methodologies and relational databases;
Basic knowledge of public accounting regulations, budget law, and public finance.
