Olon Spa, Italian company world leader in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) production, using synthetic and biological processes for Generic market as well as in Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO), is looking for an exerienced OPEX Manager to drive Operational Excellence culture change.
Headquartered in Rodano (Italy), Olon has 14 manufacturing facilities employing more than 2.800 resources: 9 located in Italy, 1 in Spain, 3 in France, 1 in USA and 1 in India, all compliant with international requirements, and 3 branch offices (China, Germany, USA).
Being focused on the development of process optimization, research and innovation, the epxerienced Opex Manager is primarily responsible for leading the creation of the OLON Production System and to develop an OPEX Transformation to grow the process improvement capabilities of the business.
The individual will drive change management, effectively communicating throughout the organization and collaborating to achieve target performance and share best practices.
To perform this job successfully, the person will be able to :
* Identify and align OPEX Priorities, Goals and Objectives
* Work in collaboration with Site Leadership Teams to identify and improve those areas most important to the Site and Olon Group
* Establish OPEX strategies, KPIs, priorities, project goals and assess results
* Lead and execute improvement projects and initiatives in order to achieve business needs and objectives
* Drive OPEX culture and enhance Lean Six Sigma capabilities throughout the organization by organizing & facilitating OPEX events as necessary and ensuring that accountability for OPEX held at all levels in the organization and ensuring standards are followed correctly
* Identify and eliminate process waste by continually driving a cultural shift in the organization with sustainable results.
* Monitor progress of improvement projects by establishing reporting process metrics, and creating business performance scorecards, providing regular business management metrics including cost/performance improvement and ROI
* Collaborate to the digital trasformation within the Site

Education and work experience:
* Degree in OPEX Related discipline (e.g. Engineering, Business, etc.)
* Operational Excellence training and/or certification (e.g. 6-Sigma, Lean, Continuous Improvement, etc.)
* 3-5+ years of experience leading manufacturing or business organizations in the deployment of Operational Excellence
* Experience in successful deployment of Lean and Six Sigma
* Ability to engage others in, facilitate consensus, obtain buy-in of senior leadership and drive for successful adoption of change initiatives
* A track record of continuous improvement efforts with proven successful sustained outcomes.
* Significant computer related skills (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) a plus
* Successful completion of Leadership development program is desirable
