Sr. Process Improvement Specialist, EU PE LEAN
Amazon seeks a Sr. EU PE Six Sigma Black Belt (Process Improvement Specialist) to work in the EU Process Engineering (EU PE) Lean Team. This role drives high-quality initiatives embedding lean culture within operational teams, aiming to seed meaningful lean knowledge and approaches in our fulfillment network. The Process Improvement Specialist invests effort in promoting impactful, quality work with deep-level PE involvement that minimizes complexity in key touch points with partners through simpler reporting.
This is a fully on-site role requiring physical presence at one of our sites five days a week. The role can be based in either Passo Corese, Colleferro, or Agognate.
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver Lean trainings and support sites in implementing Lean methodology to enable Operations to apply it autonomously in everyday business.
* Lead high-impact continuous improvement projects, including auditing implemented actions to ensure process improvements are sustained and benefits are realized.
* Mentor participants of Lean Six Sigma trainings and Kaizen leaders through their projects.
* Partner with Learning team on tailored Lean Learning Ecosystem structure and training material content.
* During event weeks, you will be deployed to the site management operational team, based on the need of the building.
* Ability to travel as needed within your area of responsibility.
About the Team:
The EU Process Engineering (EU PE) team drives process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfillment Network.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a technical field.
* Relevant experience working in operations, supply chain, transportation, project management.
* Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
* Strong professional experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies, and change management.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
