We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the Financial Automation program launch for Global Logistic and Inbound Small Parcel business. The candidate will play a key role in the development of key automation launch metrics, reports, and insights using data visualization as needed. This candidate will be expected to be skilled in understanding finance needs, converting them to data analysis in tech systems, having working knowledge of data availability in various sources, and consolidating the data into standardized formats.
The candidate will also be responsible for designing the P&L financial model, scaling data processes and reports, streamlining and simplifying financial workflows, as well as managing project timelines and deliverables.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and large datasets. They will have strong attention to detail, SQL skills, experience with statistical analysis tools, and the ability to clearly communicate and present data insights.
Key job responsibilities
1. Build and maintain the key metrics and reports for financial automation launch for Global Logistic and Inbound Small Parcel.
2. Monitor existing metrics as well as develop and propose new metrics, ensuring clear and efficient visibility into financial automation results for finance and stakeholders to facilitate further analysis.
3. Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to Global Logistic and Inbound Small Parcel AP transactions. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning.
4. Design and implement a P&L reporting model to optimize financial workflows, enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
5. Continuously look for ways to streamline financial processes and workflows. Inform process owners of potential improvements and work collaboratively to implement changes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
2. 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
4. Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
5. Experience with SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
