We are looking for a Senior Project Financial Controller to be hired in Milan, being fully responsible for all commercial related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, NCM and ECC topics. CPM ensures the compliance of applicable regulations during the offer and project execution phase. CPM is supporting the Project Manager/ Bid Manager in all other areas where a takeover of responsibilities is decided and/or a useful contribution.

Your Challenge
As a Senior Project Financial Controller your mission will be to ensure a high level of standards for the completion of all projects commercial/financial related matters and perform general controlling operations in the assigned business divisions. Your main activities will be to:
1. Manage the project throughout the project Life Cycle.
2. Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus local Gaap requirements.
3. Ensure the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording of such in appropriate ERP systems.
4. Support the Project Manager with the analysis of the financial results according to defined targets and optimize the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
5. Actively communicate with customer's commercial representatives and manage solving of commercial issues.
6. Together with the PM proactively setting up a contract and claim management in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager.
7. Support the PM in identifying, evaluating and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities - taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities.
8. Manage and support Management in identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies and response activities.
9. Act together with the team members according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establish a culture of trust and integrity.
10. Support completion of financial analysis, planning and controlling activities, and all related business administration activities.
11. Support consolidation of all accounting, financial reporting, and other finance related operations.
To be a perfect fit for this role, you:
1. At least 4 years' experience in financial project functions.
2. Have a Degree in Economics or Management Engineering.
3. You have knowledge of SAP system.
4. Have a proficient knowledge in English and Italian.
5. Strong analytical and planning skills, risk management and ability to proactively propose improvement actions.
6. Able to interact, work in team, creating a good environment, collaboration, teamwork and communicate effectively with people at all levels and cultures.
7. Proven skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
8. Flexibility to work on several projects and prioritize autonomously.
9. Passion to never-stop growing.
10. Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge.
