Please include your latest showreel/portfolio with your application.Responsibilities:As an experienced Lead Lighting and Shading Artist, you will work on challenging projects for premium clients, delivering the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.You will take a leadership role on projects, providing support and guidance to other lighting artists.You take responsibility for ensuring the best visual and technical quality in the assets you create.You will work closely with our creative team to implement and excel visual consistency and creative excellence on our clients.As a team player, you’ll work alongside a growing group of dedicated and highly motivated CG artists.About YouThe essentials:With a minimum of 8 years in production, you have a strong background, ideally in automotive and product visualisation.Proven experience as a lighting and shading artist using Unreal Engine and other tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, VRay, or similar.Ability to inspire and energise team members towards achieving common goals.Experience with PBR material development in Unreal Engine.Accustomed to working with complex CGI pipelines.Driven by a deep interest in creating high-quality visualisations.A problem-solving mindset.Self-motivated worker with strong organisational skills.Strong passion for automotive projects.Great verbal and written communication skills in English.Team Player: Strong ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Not a must, but a plus:Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).Background in 2D software packages such as Photoshop, After Effects, Substance, etc.Experience as a photographer or DOP.Experience with the creation of Full-CG Environments.At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
