Commissioning Manager (Wafer Manufacturing, Milan, Italy) Contract: Swiss Commissioning GmbH - located in Stans, Switzerland - connects the commissioning community. On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Commissioning Manager in Milan, Italy for a semi-conductor site (wafer manufacturing). You will be responsible for commissioning Wafer Fabrication plant including Mechanical, Chemical, Gasses as well as Power & Building Control systems. The ideal candidate will have a management qualification and/or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with relevant experience in Wafer Fabrication Start-up. Responsibilities: Effectively and professionally monitor and supervise site works, including subcontract packages, deliver in accordance with company procedures, program requirements, and project specifications. Develop Commissioning program with full predecessor program backed into Construction P6 Schedule. Ensure operatives are working to the latest method statements and check they understand the method statement. Manage, control and liaise with the work trade contractors, labor, to deliver all Commissioning program requirements. Assist with the redraw of designs and coordination of production information with site requirements and conditions and cost restraints. Ensure all relevant documentation is developed and monitored relating to Commissioning program. Liaise with external commissioning Agents. Produce reports on each project at agreed intervals, and whenever substantive actions are required. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for Senior Management. Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and/or Clients/Customers when necessary. Monitor the contract progress, assess and report any changes that may affect project costs and/or time scale. Assist in the control of individual contract budgets. Ensure all necessary contract documentation/reports are accurate and produced on time. Make sure that the deadline for completing work is met by continuously setting clear goals with the site management team, setting expectations to site subcontractors and assisting company directors. Requirements: Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, or electronic discipline or degree qualified with relevant industry experience. Appropriate Visa and eligibility to work in Italy. Relevant skills in resolving construction issues through collaboration. Understanding of Project Management and Procedures. Ability to resolve complex problems on time. Analytical/organizational skills. Knowledge and experience of Project controls. Risk & Opportunity Management experience.
