The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing an efficient sales structure, managing the sales teams in Italy and internationally, and shaping the company’s sales strategy in collaboration with senior management. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in B2B sales of complex solutions or projects, combined with strategic thinking and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement the sales strategy for the Italian and the international market, to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
* Manage a high-performing sales teams in Italy and internationally.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and key customer relationships.
* Establish and oversee sales operations, performance metrics, and reporting systems.
* Collaborate with the executive team to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
* Negotiate high-value contracts and ensure customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach.
* Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and industry developments to refine the sales strategy.
* Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 10-15 years of experience in B2B sales of complex solutions or projects.
* Proven track record in international sales, business development, and team leadership.
* Strong leadership and motivational skills to manage diverse sales teams.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and success.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative, and international environment.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Fluency in Italian, English and French or Spanish is required.
