Position: Sales Area Manager - Export Area Manager for Central and South America
Job Description:
We are seeking a experienced Sales Area Manager to lead our export operations in Central and South America. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management, with a strong background in the automation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop business opportunities in the Central and South America market
* Propose technical solutions to clients, working closely with colleagues from the technical office if necessary
* Prepare and submit technical-commercial offers
* Build relationships of trust with agents and distributors on the territory
* Participate in trade shows and events in the sector
* Plan sales actions to expand the portfolio and/or retain existing customers
* Share commercial strategies with the Sales Director
Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in a technical field
* At least 5 years of experience in the role
* Experience in a B2B industrial sector, preferably in customized products (machines and plants for the pharmaceutical and food industries)
* Fluent English and Spanish, French is also appreciated
* Availability for international travel
* Collaboration and ability to work in a team
