Service Technician
Mission
The mission is to ensure customer service satisfaction by resolving technical problems in a safe, fast, and reliable way on-site or at the workshop.
This is done by providing the right professional analyses, guidance, and follow-up of/with our business partners and key accounts in coordination with our technical support team and operations team.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare repair or maintenance proposals
* In-depth Engine Troubleshooting
* Repair and Overhaul Diesel Engines
* Prepare technical proposals for customers and internal stakeholders
* Prepare Spare Parts proposals to customers or internal stakeholders
* Coordinate and do equipment commissioning and provide support on basic user training
* Instruct and Train customer users or technicians on product utilization, equipment service, and maintenance needs
* Lead and implement equipment inspections and advise customers or users accordingly
* Being responsible for the Safety and health of yourself also the others in your surroundings in the course of your daily work as well as during your working schedule
* Travel within Italy's national territory and Malta
* Follow and commit to the SHEQ internal guidelines and be responsible for the usage of the TIA App
Requirements:
* Over 5 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment
* Over 3 years of experience with Engine troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment
* Knowledge of Portable compressors, Generators, and pumps is a plus
* Proactive approach and problem-solving
* Knowledge of MS Windows packages
* Native Italian and a good level of English (other language is a plus)
* Certification or training in Diesel Engines is a plus
* Flexibility to travel across Italy and Malta
* Driver's license
