This position is centered around supporting companies in addressing LCA and GHG-based topics, increasing their credibility in the market. We are looking for a motivated sustainability team player with an innovative mindset. With your expertise in Life Cycle Assessment and Greenhouse Gases topics, you will support the sustainability team in challenging LCA and GHG projects, contributing to the development of the global sustainability program. You will help build and ramp up services that support the transition of companies towards a Circular Economy for their products and services, being part of a team of specialists in the execution of these services. YOUR TASKS: Develop into assessing/auditing in sustainability projects with a focus on life cycle assessment studies as well as GHG studies for a variety of industries and customers. Support the sustainability team in addressing requests from the market, participating in the full process since the pre-engagement stage, contributing to the growing business of product sustainability in both national and European contexts. Support the sustainability team in establishing and maintaining relevant sustainability technical knowledge by forging strong relationships with internal and external experts, academic and research institutions, technical/scientific institutions, industrial associations, and regulatory authorities (government agencies, pilot customers). YOUR QUALIFICATION: A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or related field. A graduate degree (e.g., PhD) is a plus. 2-4 years of relevant work in LCA/GHG services in consulting, third-party bodies, industry, and/or academic contexts. Good knowledge of LCA/GHG-based services and related standards (ISO 14040-14044, UNI EN 15804, ISO 14025, Carbon Footprint of product/service/organization according to ISO 14067, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol). Knowledge of additional sustainability-related standards/programs (e.g., ISO 14021, PAS 2060, GRI, SBTi) is a plus. Good knowledge of LCA software tools, e.g., SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA, Umberto. Good understanding of key topics: climate change, resource efficiency, energy, carbon, sustainable materials, and supply chains. Curious and creative. Fluent in written and spoken English.
