We are looking for an experienced HR Director Europe to join our dynamic team and collaborate with senior management in shaping the strategic direction of our local HR operations. In this role, you will drive regional HR and administrative excellence across our growing organization of 70-80 employees in Europe.
As our new colleague, these are your responsibilities:
* Develop and implement regional HR policies aligned with organizational goals and local regulations.
* Provide strategic advice to senior management on workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
* Run and continuously renew the performance evaluation process, ensuring it aligns with evolving company objectives and fosters individual growth. Regularly assess its effectiveness, incorporating feedback from employees and leaders, and introduce innovative tools or methods to keep it relevant and impactful.
* Drive initiatives to enhance company culture, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
* Act as a culture ambassador, fostering alignment between organizational values and employee behaviors.
* Oversee and support leadership development programs to build management capabilities and future leaders.
* Lead all HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, workforce integration, and change management.
* Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure seamless HR compliance
* Manage communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged during transitions.
* Oversee the development and execution of recruitment strategies in Europe to attract high-performing talent.
* Guide the HR team in creating initiatives to retain key employees and high potentials.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operating regions.
* Act as a key advisor to the EVP on HR, Labour law and compliance matters.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to management on complex employee relations issues.
* Oversee and coordinate the operational activities of the HR team (comprising currently 3 headcounts), while taking direct responsibility for managing the HR operations of at least one key market.
* Partner with department heads to align HR strategies with business needs.
* Represent HR in meetings, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making.
* Act as a key liaison between employees and senior management to ensure transparent communication.
* Coordinate the activities of office administration staff across the Europe region
Ideally you have
* >8 years of experience in an (international) HR related function.
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources management.
* very good communication skills.
* high level of numeracy
* ability to work independently and proactively approach stakeholders.
* excellent computer skills including Office 365 and any HRIS system.
* language capabilities: Italian native, English fluent.
* ability to travel domestically and internationally when required, and work flexibly with hours.
* pro-active, and a structured team player spirit with a high degree of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
* Valid work Visa in Italy.
