Export Area Manager
We are seeking an Export Area Manager. This role will report directly to the Sales Manager, ensuring alignment of strategic goals and effective communication throughout projects.
The selected individual will be dedicated to business development in the assigned foreign country for channels such as wholesalers and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Previous experience in Area Manager role: At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
2. Foreign Market Management: Direct experience in managing international markets, with a good understanding of the local dynamics of each country or region.
3. Relevant industry: Knowledge of the industry in which the company operates, to better adapt to specific business needs.
4. Foreign Languages: Advanced knowledge of English, and often other languages (e.g., Spanish, French, German, or local languages depending on the target markets). Fluency in local languages is a significant advantage.
5. Market Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret market data, identifying growth opportunities and emerging trends.
6. Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement strategies for expansion and penetration into foreign markets.
7. Budget management: Experience in managing budgets for development activities in international markets, optimizing resources and maximizing results.
8. Overview: Ability to gather information about the activity to be carried out, to manage it in as complete and articulate a picture as possible.
9. Organization of information: Ability to identify criteria for organizing the information at hand and for its proper use.
10. Synthesis: Ability to move from a broad to a micro view by identifying the main elements on which to focus.
11. Decision-making: Ability to choose between different alternatives, through analysis and synthesis of data and information, even under conditions of uncertainty and complexity, and to make final decisions.
12. Problem solving: Ability to identify and understand the essential aspects of problems in order to be able to develop possible solutions by resorting to both experience and creativity, so as to arrive at an effective solution in a timely manner.
13. Organization and method: Ability to set, plan and organize tasks to achieve the result by efficiently and effectively using the resources at one's disposal (time, technologies, tools, and workspace).
14. Precision and accuracy: Ability to be accurate, diligent, and careful about what one does, paying attention to details and details toward the end result.
15. Outcome-oriented: Ability to work toward the goals of one's role, to have constancy in doing so.
16. Communication: Ability to relate to each other through effective verbal and nonverbal communicative acts, mediated using various tools/channels (email, telephone, platforms).
