Summary
In this position, you will be responsible for Market Access, Reimbursement and Policy strategies for Italy across the Vantive portfolio. You'll create and execute Market Access strategies (including policy, reimbursement and HTA) across Italy, giving your input to strategic and business planning activities.
You will represent the voice of non-clinical stakeholders, establish the access and evidence requirements for successful new product development and introduction in coordination with the Senior Director HEMAR EMEA and the global HEMAR team. This position reports directly to Senior Director HEMAR EMEA and will work in close collaboration with multiple internal partners and stakeholders, including, but not limited to, the global and regional access teams, regional Marketing teams and Sales leadership and Medical Affairs.
What you'll be doing
* Lead HEMAR Strategy (including policy, reimbursement and HTA) for the Vantive portfolio across Italy.
* Key focus on executing the strategy related to improvement of Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) penetration across the regions in collaboration with local teams. Support on the Acute business will also be required on an as-needed basis.
* Responsibility for economic evidence generation and dissemination to payers and providers including building capability across the commercial (evidence-based selling) and Medical Affairs organization.
* Provide geography specific intelligence working as a strategic partner for New Product launch, value proposition: Non-clinical stakeholder dimension and value-based pricing.
What you'll bring
* Strong understanding of local healthcare environment (including reimbursement, policy and HTA) across Italy.
* Develop strategies for market access and adoption of our therapies, specifically PD.
* Provide inputs to relevant new product development, life-cycle optimization, licensing & acquisition.
* Support execution of commercial strategies with global/regional/country commercial partners.
* Understand commercial financial information related to the business, KPIs and financial forecasting metrics and trends impacted by market access, funding and reimbursement.
* Apply HEMAR perspectives and knowledge to current and future portfolio and solution planning to deliver mid and long-term business success.
* Work with cross-functional teams to develop a clear set of goals and plans.
* Understand and shape innovation strategy to optimize value, access and adoption.
* Assess, shape and plan for quantifying potential value propositions and TPPs for NPD to optimize market access and adoption.
Experience Requirements
* Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD) in health economics, HTA and or Statistics.
* Proven experience of market access across Italy.
* Experience of at least 2 out of the following: Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Technology Assessment, Market Access, Real World Evidence.
* Minimum of 7 years in the space of Health Economics and Market Access.
