COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATION SPAL Sales organization is mainly split by specific market served with a specialist for each of these markets. Aftermarket (small OE included), and sales through Distributors is one of these markets. A team of EMEA Area Managers has the primary responsibility to handle Customers located in the area of competence. Their responsibilities are transversal to markets served and cover all products supplied from SPAL. Goal of this research is to find a Sales Manager able to coordinate both the Aftermarket/distribution sales structure and Area Managers responsible for EMEA and others territories not covered from SPAL Subsidiaries. This position is newly created within the existing Sales organization. LOCATION The position is based at our HQ in Correggio (Italy) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Aftermarket / Distribution Sales Manager Person in this role oversees the sales and marketing efforts of the indicated market including but not limited to: Managing the Account Manager for this market providing input and directives with the goal to increase sales. Overviewing customers and distributors/resellers portfolio. Achieving or providing necessary support to achieve turnover and market share target defined by the Company in accordance with forecasts and sales plan. Acquiring or providing necessary support to acquire new customers. Strengthening and supporting distributors' loyalty. Executing or providing necessary support to execute research and scouting activities (market intelligence) for the assigned market to identify the requested products with relevant rewarding features, business opportunities and threats (competitors and beyond). Drawing up and periodically updating sales forecasts. Providing Senior Management with useful input and recommendations for defining commercial strategies. Participation in trade fairs. Reviewing, assessing, and providing support for new opportunities of business. Performing other duties as assigned or required. Area Managers Supervisor Person in this role oversees the sales and marketing activities of Area Managers located in EMEA area and/or territories not covered by SPAL branches including but not limited to: Coordinating current Area Managers team providing input and directives with the goal to increase sales. Mapping and tracking of existing and potential new Customers for areas of competence. Achieving turnover and market share target defined by the Company in accordance with forecasts and sales plan. Managing visits and commercial negotiations (preparing offers, negotiating deals in line with company directives). Executing research and scouting activities (market intelligence) for the assigned areas to identify requested products, business opportunities and threats (competitors and beyond). Evaluating if and where to add team members; in case to select candidates. REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE Fluent use of the English language, combined with a good IT culture are necessary conditions to fill the role. Commercial work experience gained in the B2B and in particular in the Aftermarket/distribution sector. Sales and negotiation skills.
