As Senior Process Engineer, you will join our Department/Function PLID, in the business line Asset Based Services (No Drilling), conducting the following activities:
Mission:
Elaborate, define, size and validate - within a process team - the various items, units and technical deliverables to be implemented in the Project. Work under the supervision of the Process Lead, or acting as Process Lead.
Tasks:
1. Develop Heat and Material Balances using simulation software.
2. Develop Process Flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feedstocks into on-specification products, in the most economical manner.
3. Define and size Equipment and Instrumentation to be implemented and issue relevant Process Data sheets.
4. Elaborate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P and IDs).
5. Perform hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems, in steady state and transient operation.
6. Define the utilities requirements and design the associated systems.
7. Define quantities and characteristics of effluents to be disposed to the environment.
8. Ensure the preparation of Operating Manual and Test Run procedures.
9. Implement contractual design philosophy.
10. Check technical quality of calculations, simulations and deliverables produced by junior engineers.
11. Take part in multidisciplinary project reviews such as P and IDs, HAZOP, 3D Model.
* When acting as Process Lead, coordinate Process Team in order to meet time and quality Project requirements.
* When acting as Process Lead, ensure efficient interface and coordination with Client, Vendor and other Project Discipline Leads.
Abroad availability for mission or long assignment is requested.
QUALIFICATION: Chemical Engineering Master Degree;
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: minimum required level B1;
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: minimum required 5-8;
IT SKILLS: Microsoft Office, Aspen Hysys, Bluebeam, Pipenet (nice to have), Naviswork (nice to have).
SOFT SKILLS: Problem solving, communication, teamwork, decision making.
NICE TO HAVE: previous experience in Offshore (fixed facilities or FPSO) EPC projects.
