DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
We’re looking for a JUNIOR MERCHANDISER that will support the Merchandising Team in the management of department and category goals in terms of turnover, sell out and stock rotation.
The resource will have the opportunity to collaborates with the Team in the in-season inventory management and optimization, by using the leverage of call-off, product distribution and replenishment.
KEY CHALLENGES
Supporting the review and maximize product flow based on the latest trends and assumptions to ensure the best assortment for stores
Supporting in the appropriate quantitative distribution of merchandise based on store performance
Supporting working with Store Operation Department and Area Manager in analysing store performance and planning visits to markets and stores
Working with the Planning and Store Operation Department to suggest and set up the correct markdown campaign and promotions
Supporting the management of the reverse logistic process steps for commercial returns
Supporting the management of end-of-season returns and the management of old merchandise to ensure its proper distribution in the outlet or stock jobber network
Collaborating with Purchasing and Marketing Department to plan and implement marketing campaign
CORE COMPETENCIES:
University in progress or Degree, in particular in the Economic field
Good analytical and numerical skills
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular good knowledge of Excel
