Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and manage sales activities across Europe, focusing on growing our presence in the modified food starches market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food ingredients market, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve profitability targets and market growth.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, regional accounts, and distributors, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions to meet their demands.
* Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted market segments, collaborating with R&D and technical teams to deliver innovation and tailored solutions.
* Market Expertise: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align goals and ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
* Travel: Visit customers across Europe and travel occasionally to team alignment and strategy development meetings.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Experience: Minimum 15 years of direct sales experience in the food ingredients industry, with a focus on food ingredients and modified food starches or related products B-2-B.
* Skills: Strong market knowledge of modified food starches, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English, and additional European languages are a plus.
