Senior Business Developer - Commercial, Amazon Shipping Sector: Sales and Business Development, Technology Role: Senior Executive Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time DESCRIPTION This is a very exciting opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon Shipping business. We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, analytical and customer-obsessed individual to join the Business Development team in Italy. You will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of the largest companies in Italy, detecting opportunities, negotiating with external companies, closing sales, and collecting market segment and customer insights to improve the product and delight Amazon customers. Key job responsibilities Leadership: be part of the organization's leadership team and help implement the overall strategy and direction. Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong top-level relationships with potential future strategic customers. Cross-functional collaboration: Work with operations, product, and tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits customer needs. Dive deep: Measure performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and lead the team to address them. Business development: Bring new customers to Amazon, develop the volume of shipping packages, ensure a good conversion rate, and do it with profitability in mind. This role will be based in Milan. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree. Experience in business development, sales, and account management in B2B. Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Strong ownership and ability to deliver results. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership. Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in setting and achieving goals. Professional proficiency in Italian and English. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
