We are offering a position for Creative Graphic Design Manager, part of the marketing and engagement team to join our creative office in Milan.
Creating compelling graphics for fashion and retail and planning strategic multi-channel & social media marketing to drive consumer demand. Overseeing graphic design needs and facilitating marketing campaigns from start to finish, in collaboration with the creative director and fashion design team. Working towards achieving quarterly and yearly goals for the department and company. Leading the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and drive new customer acquisition.
POSITION BRIEF DETAILS
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of online and offline media.
You will be working with a young and dynamic creative team in Milan, to manage the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos.
You will be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, brand-books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions, and more.
Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.
The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Liaise with the Fashion designer VM Team to ensure deadlines are met
• Refine images, fonts, and layouts using various graphic design software
• Apply typography techniques
• Stay up to date with fashion & retail industry developments and trends
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
• Proven graphic designing work experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and CSS
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
• Being available to travel
