JUNIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER - BOLOGNA-NAPOLI

NIER Ingegneria is increasing the technical team of the Systems Engineering department and is looking for a junior Systems engineer to join the technical team working for the railway industry.

PLACE OF WORK
5. First-period location (6-12 months): BOLOGNA.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
7. Execution of technical activities for the development of railway and metro equipment and systems that could concern:
8. Requirement Management and Verification activities;
9. Verification of compliance to standards and norms;
10. Functional Safety analysis;
11. Reliability-Availability-Maintainability analysis.

YOU ARE PERFECT FOR US IF YOU HAVE:
12. Master’s Degree in engineering (preferably Electronic, Electric, Nuclear, Mechanics, Aerospace, Biomedical).
13. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
14. Fluent Italian (spoken and written).
15. Good knowledge of English (spoken and written, at least level B1).
16. Problem solving skills, goal orientation, flexibility, strong motivation, ability to work in a team.
17. Willingness for national travel.
IF YOU ALSO HAVE THESE QUALITIES, WE APPRECIATE IT:
18. Knowledge of railway regulatory framework, signaling principles, and architecture of systems (e.g. ERTMS).
19. Knowledge of international standards for functional safety in general (IEC61508) and specifically for railway (EN50126, EN50129), nuclear (IEC 61226, IEC 61513), automotive (ISO26262), process (IEC61513, IEC61511), manufacturing (IEC62061) industries.
20. Knowledge of European Directives (e.g. Machinery, Electromagnetic compatibility).
21. Knowledge of software tools for Requirement Management and Verification (e.g. DOORS, POLARION).
22. Knowledge in programming by DOORS Extension Language (DXL).
23. Knowledge in RAMS engineering methods (e.g. FMEA/FMECA), techniques (e.g. RBD, FTA) and software tools (e.g. Isograph-FaultTree+, ALD-RAM Commander, Reliasoft-Blocksim or similar).
24. Willingness for international travel.
