THE MISSION
As E-Commerce Sales Leader, you will be a critical part of the Sales team as you contribute to the expansion of Scalapay in the Italian market.
You will:
* Be responsible for driving revenue growth from new business and achieving our ambitious sales targets in the Italian market.
* Develop a localised playbook focusing on Enterprise Sales to win more merchants in target categories.
* Implement an effective sales forecasting and reporting system that ensures accurate and timely insights into the sales pipeline.
* Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team of sales professionals.
* Focus on building out the enterprise sales function.
* Hire, manage & develop an exceptional team; you will need to recruit & build the right team for the job. You will make the Scalapay sales team the most sought after place to work in Europe.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORMust have
* Be an exceptional sales leader. This means having achieved exceptional results in your sales career. Exceptional means the type of results that are beyond the reach of 90% of sales leaders.
* Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B Sales in a senior role for an international company.
* You’ve already managed a team: this means performance management, hiring, firing, coaching, and training.
* Fluent English; this is a senior role so you’ll be interacting in English every day with people inside and outside of Scalapay.
Nice to have
* You’ve previously worked in a startup/scaleup environment.
* Strong leadership and management skills; managing the team means setting the bar high on performance whilst ensuring people stay engaged.
* Data-driven and organised; you like things to run like an engine.
* You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written): you are able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas.
* You’re a self-starter, autonomous & proactive: we’re looking for someone who will go and get things done, not wait for instructions.

* Case Study: A skills-based exercise followed by a debriefing session with key stakeholders, conducted in our Milan office.
