Join our team as an ERM Manager, reporting to the Group Risk Governance, ERM & Transmission Risk Management Sr. Manager.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the Group.
You’ll develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework that drives proactive risk identification and strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure a holistic approach to risk management that aligns with Prysmian’s mission, goals, and compliance requirements.
Expect to travel to Prysmian’s sites, which will take up around 30% of your time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Design and maintain a robust enterprise risk management framework that integrates risk management into all aspects of Prysmian’s activities and decision-making processes.
2. Develop risk assessments, surveys, dashboards, scorecards, and reports using key metrics to support the executive team in evaluating and reporting enterprise risk.
3. Foster a risk-aware culture across the Group, encouraging and valuing risk identification and reporting by all members of Prysmian.
4. Lead the identification and assessment of risks across various areas including operations, finance, technology, compliance, sustainability, and reputation.
5. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, working closely with stakeholders to establish effective controls and action plans.
6. Create and distribute regular risk assessment reports to senior leadership, providing insights into emerging risks, trends, and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
7. Work with department heads and operational leaders to address specific risks within their areas, providing guidance and support in developing risk mitigation plans.
8. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that could impact the Group, and proactively recommend adjustments to the risk management strategy.
9. Collaborate with Compliance, Audit teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between risk management, compliance efforts, and auditing activities.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Requirements:
1. Master’s degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering.
2. 5-7 years of related experience in compliance, audit, or enterprise risk management within large manufacturing organizations.
3. Experience working in international environments.
4. Proven ability to manage and complete complex multiple engagements.
5. Strong business process and internal control skills, corporate governance, and internal audit methodology.
6. High level of analytical skills, capable of simplifying complex arguments to support risk analysis and assessment.
7. Effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
8. Fluency in English is essential.
9. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
10. A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.
