What you will do
As a member of the Inside Sales and Digital Customer Engagement team, you will support the business by engaging with customers and implementing the company’s activities around Digital Customer Engagement.
This role is a permanent role starting asap.
Responsibilities will include
1. Sales Specialist selling to and engaging with customers remotely (‘Sales Rep without a car’)
2. Actively sells Tecan’s products by using telephone/videocalls and appropriate digital channels
3. Achieve sales targets by territory planning and opportunity management
4. Part of the European Inside Sales & Digital Customer Engagement team
5. Implement the company’s activities around Digital Customer Engagement in the territory
6. Continuously increase personal efficiency and productivity
What you bring along
7. Degree in Life Sciences or Medtech
8. Sales in European life sciences or laboratory diagnostics market
9. Sales Budget responsibility
10. Proven Track record
11. Ability to understand the needs of clients, staff and co-workers
12. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and outcome-oriented
13. Ability to communicate effectively and to engage with customers using the telephone and digital channels
14. Be able to work with people in a matrix organization or geographically remote
15. Recognize cultural differences
16. Strong Leadership skills

19. Fluent in Italian and English. Another European language is a plus.
