He/she will be part of the FP&A team as Senior Financial Controller, reporting to the FP&A manager.
He/she will monitor the business performance of the BUs, market segment plants, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of results, comparative analysis and comments as a business partner.
He/she will be involved in the monthly Management Reporting process, quarterly and Year End closing process of the Group Reporting.
1. Collaborate to the elaboration of the Budget, Forecast and Multi-Year Plan processes of the BUs, coordinating all the functions involved.
2. Run Volume-price-mix model analysis on Sales and Margin for customers, product family, geographic area in order to assess profitability.
3. Prepare effective Power Point presentation in order to deliver the main business drivers to the Management essential to decision making process.
4. Build and run analytical review models in order to be able to monitor profitability, cash generation and financial structure of the Group.
5. Develop performance analysis: define and track financial and non-financial KPIs, through monthly reports, establish benchmarks and implement indicators improvements.
6. Support the development and implementation of decision-making models (Make or Buy- Business Plan).
7. Support Plant Operations in the definitions of annual targets and KPIs and track variances against actuals.
8. Perform analysis by cost center on Opex, provide financial insights on optimizing costs, monitoring expense vs BDG.
9. Responsible for the accuracy of the Inventory and of the warranty provisions of the Italian legal entity from a Reporting and SOX perspective.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Accounting & Corporate Finance.
2. 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment. Big Four experience is considered as a plus.
3. Prone to problem solving and adaptable to ever changing situations.
4. Knowledge of USGAAP is considered as a plus.
5. Experience in an ERP environment (JDE and OneStream are considered as a plus).
6. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel- Power Point).
7. Fluent in English.
8. Availability to travel.
9. Interpersonal skills and ability to work productively in a international cross-functional team environment.
10. The ability to work with all levels of management, and team members is a must.
