The person will directly report to Moleskine's Head of Administration, Finance and Treasury. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, accuracy in financial reporting, and coordination between various subsidiaries. Main Responsibilities Manage the preparation of the monthly consolidated accounts, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies, statutory requirements, and IFRS; Monitor and improve the consolidation process to enhance efficiency by identifying opportunities for process enhancements in financial consolidation and accounting reporting; Utilize financial consolidation software and maintain data accuracy; Collaborate with the accounting and reporting team on shareholder level providing financial reports respecting the periodical deadlines; Provide support to subsidiaries in managing accounting and financial issues; Support the local HQ Finance Team in performing periodic Financial Statement analysis and reconciliations; Maintain adherence to regulatory reporting requirements and corporate accounting policies; develop and maintain consolidation schedules and timelines; Manage directly closing activities for HQ and subsidiaries with no local Financial Manager; own the process underlying monthly and annual closing procedures, being the focal point for the external accountants (tax and accounting firms) in charge of the new subsidiaries' accounting and fiscal processes; Skill Requirements 3 years’ experience in consolidation roles in one of the Big Four Auditing Firms or in a multinational company; Business proficiency in English; Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS) as well as local Italian GAAP; Strong understanding of intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation; Proactive approach combined with a Change Management mindset; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; Strong IT literacy (SAP, FCCS, MS Office); What we will offer Unique brand to discover; Discount on our products; Dynamic atmosphere in an international environment; Opportunity to influence and become a decision maker; Competitive Smart Working Policy; Moleskine is an equal opportunity employer.
