For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, we are looking for a
Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients
You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry in Italy. The position will be home office-based. You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.
Tasks
* Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials.
* Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Slovenia.
* Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers.
* Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions.
* Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen.
* Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager.
* Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager.
* You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
* Discover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor-made solutions.
* Conduct lab, small-scale, or industrial trials with customers.
* Follow up offers, payments, etc.
* Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts.
Requirements
* Degree in Food Technology Must have
* Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
* Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* High willingness to travel.
* Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.
* Very good knowledge of Slovenian and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
* You have a valid driving license Must have
