YOUR ROLE AT KIKO
We are seeking a Senior Packaging Designer for our Global Creative Services Department. This individual will report to the Packaging Design Manager and the Global Head of Creative Services.
The Senior Packaging Designer creates and presents creative concepts for makeup and skin care product packaging and KIKO collections. Key responsibilities include:
* Visualizing creative concepts and designs for primary and secondary packaging.
* Creating original designs for products and collections that meet target, quality, and production requirements.
* Ensuring creativity and designs align with brand guidelines and style guides.
* Presenting concept presentations to marketing leaders.
* Overseeing state-of-the-art adaptations of designs and ensuring the impeccable release of final artwork files created by graphic designers and packaging artists for production.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
* At least 10 years of proven experience in packaging design and graphic design fields.
* Graphic Design or Product Design bachelor's degree.
* Education in printed arts, color management, and product and graphic design.
* Creative and Design thinking methodology.
* Expert level of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat).
* Expertise in offset printing process, digital printing process, papers and paperboards, decorations techniques, inks, and all matters related to creating and producing secondary packaging.
* Excellent taste in color, its application, combination, and creation across diverse materials.
* Good knowledge of primary packaging production processes and decoration techniques.
* Knowledge of Rhinoceros and 3D modeling software is a plus.
* Fluency in Italian and English.
