Job Summary:
The Clinical Sales Specialist will be responsible for the promotion of Inogen’s portfolio (Oxygen and Airway clearance products) and contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic goals.
She/he will be the link between Medical community, our technology / solutions and our Customers.
The clinical specialist will be active at Homecare Provider level and clinical Institution level.
Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job):
* Reporting to Inogen Sales Manager France and South Europe
- Sales Director dotted line
* Time split between product line as business requires.
* Raise awareness on Inogen’s product by Conducting Presentation and training in Hospitals with medical staff.
* Focus on customer training and collaborate with Sales Development manager and clinical Development Manager to support Clinical / Sales development programs
* Establish and maintain strategic contacts with KOL’s and Italian scientific society such as ARIR
* Track and analyze sales according to guidelines from Sales Manager, report on market trend and relevant information
* Manage and track Demonstration Device placement
* Support the customer in the use of specific products during cases, coach on product usage
* Represent the product portfolio to the customer in a competent & professional manner
* Optimize practitioner efficiency through optimal product usage
* Clinical presentations of the technology, execute training programs
* Prioritize and appropriately respond to requests in a Professional manner
* Full adoption of Sales Force effectiveness tools and KPI’s
* Maintain a current calendar reflecting availability for appointments, training, local congress
* Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Be prepared to support duties not within regional scope if business requires
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
* Demonstrate skills required to remotely and directly assess and instruct Home Care providers, prescribers … patients in the safe use of Inogen supplied equipment.
* Knowledge of current clinical issues/treatments of Pulmonary disease ,cardio-pulmonary disease processes as they relate to Inogen provided services.
* Knowledge of the current technologies used in cardio-pulmonary disease treatments as they relate to Inogen provided services.
* Must be self-disciplined, organized, and be able to take ownership and responsibility for business objectives and your own time management Network of prescribers, hospitals and HC providers with Sales sensitivity.
* Italian or fluent in Italian .
* Good English, written and spoken mandatory.
* Preferably located in the North (Turin /Milano area).
* Must have a good understanding in the Italian regional tender based market Structure.
* Knowledge of the Stake holders (Home Care providers).
* Must have a good ability to perform clinical selling.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
* Attention to detail is required.
Background :
* Clinical Background with 7 years of experience in the industry.
* Or Science degree background with 7 years experience in Industry (Industry=Respiratory care equipment Manufacturer / Home Care provider) and very good clinical knowledge.
* Experience within the Pulmonary / cardio pulmonary Care environment required.
* Proficiency in computer skills.
* Valid driver’s license.
This role will also require presentations and education to Home Care Provider.
