**Job Title:** Sales & Account Manager
**Location:** Cernusco Sul Naviglio, Italy
We are seeking a talented Sales & Account Manager to join our team at Dematic. The successful candidate will report to the Country Sales Director and focus on acquiring additional revenue business from existing customers as well as bringing on new customers in Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Country Sales Director to implement sales strategy and reach key stakeholders in different business sectors.
* Research and create business opportunities through contacts with existing and new potential clients.
* Maintain and develop relationships with customers, detecting and following up customer needs.
* Carry out deal management and coordinate activity during proposal phase.
* Negotiate contracts with final customers in collaboration with the legal department.
* Work with the solution development department to define technical offer for presentation to clients.
* Delve sales initiatives to drive increased performance.
* Analyze market information related to industry developments, customer needs, and business opportunities.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
* Develop trading relationships with management and key decision makers of all key customers.
* Publish weekly reports.
Your Challenge in the Medium Term:
* Gain expertise in business knowledge about main sectors where Dematic is focused.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion and enthusiasm for deal management in complex sales.
* At least 5 years of experience in complex sales with high technological content and/or in other verticals (F&B, Grocery, Apparel, General Merch., 3PL).
* Mandatory sales experience in intralogistics market.
* Degree and/or Master in engineering/economics.
* Excellent negotiation skills; attended sales and negotiation courses considered as a plus.
* Good level of English and Italian.
* Team player with strong collaborative skills and proactive approach to achieve results.
* Available for frequent business travel, especially in Italy.
* Residence in the North of Italy.
