Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Rotating Engineer to join our Milan office.
This role is part of the Mechanical Department and will work in a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing projects in the Industrial sector, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, LNG, Green, and Energy Transition technologies.
The Lead Mechanical Rotating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the correct execution of activities related to machinery and packages for assigned projects, both for operating or bidding phases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Issue technical documents such as technical specifications, material requisitions, data sheets;
* Perform preliminary machinery and relevant auxiliaries selection;
* Contribute to interdisciplinary docs such as equipment list, electrical load list, project design basis etc.;
* Analyze equipment suppliers' offers and issue of technical bid evaluations;
* Follow up the development of equipment supplies and relevant documentation, contributing to solve any technical issue and maintaining the necessary technical contacts with suppliers, other disciplines, and customers;
* Coordinate with other disciplines for the definition and development of activities and documentation;
* Be responsible for targeting project time schedule;
* Participate in project meetings.
The successful candidate will have the ability to coordinate other machinery and packages engineers, dislocated in any of the company's workplaces, check their work, and documentation produced, and manage the assigned tasks in complete autonomy.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Engineer discipline;
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil&Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, LNG plant;
* Knowledge of the most common industrial machinery, equipment, and processes;
* Knowledge of the most common machinery and equipment standard and codes;
* Knowledge of MS Office tools, document management tools, and Autocad;
* Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory), Spanish would also be appreciated.
