About the Role
The Sales Director Central & Southern Europe is a strategic role that requires analytical, strategic, and leadership skills to lead the development and implementation of the commercial strategy for EDITA in Italian, French, and DACH markets.
Main Responsibilities
* Contribute to defining the commercial strategy for PL and branded international business in collaboration with the Head of Sales and Head of Marketing & Innovation.
* Manage an international team and define annual sales plans and targets for Italian, French, and DACH markets.
* In collaboration with the Marketing and Category Management team, conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and understand consumer behaviour.
* Monitor business performance, analysing sales performance to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
* Collaborate with the Marketing & Innovation team to manage the EDITA product portfolio, evaluating existing products and identifying new launches and product innovations.
* Maintain and develop relationships with key clients at a senior level, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring alignment of commercial strategies.
* Ensure training and development of the commercial team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure their success and the company's growth.
Key Qualifications
* 10 years of experience in managing Italian and foreign markets.
* Leadership skills with ability to lead and inspire teams.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to have a strategic vision for the business.
* Strong goal orientation and ability to manage complex projects.
Prerequisites
* Languages: fluent in English and Italian.
* Previous experience in FMCG, solid experience in Food and Beverage Sales.
* Work location: Gattico-Veruno (NO) - hybrid. Frequent travelling to France and DACH area.
