Area/Shift Manager
In this role, you will lead a large and diverse team to ensure your area of the business meets demand. You will learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to run everything smoothly.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Culture of Safety and Wellbeing: Promote a culture that prioritizes safety and wellbeing.
2. Quality and Productivity: Analyze and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity levels across all shifts.
3. Team Leadership: Support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture.
4. Performance Analysis: Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
A Day in the Life:
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritize routine team management, and perform daily operational tasks.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* University degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree), completed before start date.
* Willingness to work in non-traditional shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
* Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred qualifications are not required, but experience in communication, logistics, and MS Office suite can be beneficial.
