Role description
The Dos at Thompson Rome will be responsible for all sales strategy and will be responsible for instilling Hyatt ideals in his or her employees, dedicating themselves to ensuring service that lives up to company standards.
Main Responsabilities:
* Key account management of existing customers
* Lead and exceed stay/ADR targets in coordination with Revenue Department
* Promote the Luxury lifestyle concept proper to Thompson's culture
* Promote and maintain a perfect and up-to-date knowledge of the group's business portfolio: history, business operations, services offered, amenities, to support the continuous promotion of the entire group
* Planning, organizing, supporting and participating in the strategic plan and assisting in budget creation by business division
* Produce targeted sales action plans on a quarterly and annual basis
* Collaborate with centralized management for alignment and ongoing development of strategies and tactics to maintain and grow the business and support revenue maximization
* Plan and execute sales mission in key market areas
Requirements for the position
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry;
* Bachelor's degree in economics
* Sales leadership for a luxury lifestyle product
* Luxury Sales ability in an opening and later operating environment.
* good knowledge of partners, events and tradeshows to drive demand from specific source markets
* Previous experience as a Director of Sales or similar position
* Pre-Opening experience is an advantage
* Knowledge of the local and luxury market is essential
* Budget management;
* Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
* Excellent communication and networking skills
