Role Responsibilities and Activities
We are seeking an experienced HELMETS TECHNICAL CAD DESIGNER to join our R&D department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Delivering 3D mechanical designs for helmet development and production, incorporating Project Leader inputs on features and design while ensuring timely delivery of required data and implementing relevant changes.
* Converting designer input into 3D data (surface modeling) while conforming to the original design concept.
* Proposing designs for whole helmets and relevant components, following inputs from the Project Leader, when necessary.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* An education background in design.
* A highly developed skill set in surface modeling with Autodesk ALIAS and/or CATIA (V5, IMA, Freestyle).
* At least 3 years of experience in digital modeling in automotive or product design (preferably motorcycling/cycling helmets).
* Knowledge of mechanical kinematics and materials (thermoplastics, composites, foams) and common production processes (injection molding, thermoforming, lamination).
* Familiarity with helmet products and helmet construction, including the scope of every helmet component and basic concepts of impact energy management.
* Proficiency in AI suite for basic graphic changes.
* Understanding of main design and rendering techniques.
* Fluency in English.
