What will your activities be? The System Engineer is part of the engineering organization, reporting directly to the discipline coordinator. He/she is the technical contact within the team for all technical aspects related to project execution. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the system auxiliaries design for Steam Turbine driven Compressor and Generator applications, Electric Motors, and Turboexpanders. The System Engineer will support the customer technical contact during engineering project execution from customer specification up to as-built documentation. Main Responsibilities Of The System Engineer Are: Ensure consistency of drafting with respect to inputs, completeness of input in accordance with customer requirements and standards, and documentation delivery according to planning. Main documents include P&IDs, utility consumption list, and electrical load list. Select main items (control and on/off valves, boosters, heaters, filters) according to customer requirements and standards. Basic Requirements: Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent). English proficiency (minimum B1 level). Experience using CAD software such as ACAD or similar. Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and priorities. Additional Skills/Preferences: Teamwork and problem-solving attitude. Experience working within an engineering organization or environment. Capability to work under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge in systems calculation (sizing of orifices, PCVs, PSVs, on/off filters, heaters) and ability to develop predictive model designs (Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysis). Basic knowledge of package integration with a focus on mechanical and instrument disciplines: piping class, material selection, instrument selection, and installation. Basic knowledge of international standards (API614, API692). Job location: Florence. The contract and contractual placement will be commensurate with your experience.
