To join our Operations team, we are recruiting for the position of Project Manager to supervise and coordinate all aspects of biomethane plant construction projects in Italy .
Main Responsibilities
* Define the project plan, including timelines, budget, and resources;
* Monitor project progress and update stakeholders on the project status;
* Identify and manage risks and issues, proposing timely solutions;
* Coordinate the activities of technical teams, including engineers, installers, and on-site personnel;
* Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure proper execution of tasks;
* Ensure the availability and optimal allocation of resources (human, material, equipment);
* Monitor budget usage to ensure costs align with projections;
* Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with applicable regulations, technical, and environmental standards;
* Guarantee adherence to workplace safety regulations;
* Manage documentation and approvals to maintain regulatory compliance;
* Prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders;
* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them;
* Respond quickly to on-site challenges, including weather, technical issues, or resource shortages;
* Document and address unforeseen issues to minimize their impact;
* Complete final inspections and ensure all punch list items are addressed;
* Deliver the finished project to the client, ensuring satisfaction with the outcome;
* Conduct post-project reviews to document lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Mechanical, Energy, or Management) or equivalent qualifications;
* At least 5 years of experience in managing complex projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector or industrial plant construction;
* Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory);
* Experiencie in team management;
* Team spirit, interpersonal skills, and dynamism;
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and several stakeholders;
* Availability to travel throughout Italy.
