Job Description:
* Role Overview: The Art Curator | Social Editor is responsible for blending digital art curation with social media storytelling. The role involves curating digital content and managing social media to engage and expand Planted's audience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Digital Art Curation:
* Research, select, and showcase art focused on ecology, culture, and humanity.
* Collaborate with artists to ensure their work aligns with Planted's aesthetic.
* Update and maintain the website and social media channels.
* Work with the founder to create a compelling feed.
* Social Media Management:
* Manage and grow Planted's presence on multiple social platforms.
* Create, schedule, and post content featuring art, photography, and stories.
* Develop social media campaigns to boost engagement.
* Build relationships with artists and online communities.
* Write engaging captions to resonate with the audience.
* Interviews and Essays:
* Conduct interviews with artists centered around ecology, culture, and humanity.
* Write essays related to these themes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* Experience in art curation or content creation (preferably in art, design, or entertainment).
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
* Open to students with relevant portfolios.
* This is a task-oriented position requiring a commitment of 10 hours per week.
